These priorities have been combined with hard work, professionalism and flair to help the Boys succeed in building a name synonomous with happy customers and memorable events.
As the name David Josephs Catering is owned and operated by brothers David & Joseph.
Both Brothers have been involved in the hospitality industry from a very early age, feeding people and entertaining is in their blood.
After venturing into different fine Dining establishments , an opportunity arose for the brothers to open their own catering company, five years into the experience the brothers are thrilled that they decided to take the plunge.
Our team philosophy is to deliver what we promise. Since 1995, we’ve been doing just that. We only hire staff and work with venues who share our commitment to our clients, as well as our passion for perfection.
We take great pride in bringing an innovative touch to special events planning and catering. We have years of experience with event enhancements such as entertainment, floral, photography, transportation, tenting and more. Joseph Farahat
Event Planner & Executive Chef
In 1987 Joseph Farahat graduated from The Culinary Institute of America.
Joseph spent the next two years under the tutelage of Four Star Chefs at the world famous Greenbrier Hotel and Spa.
There Joseph developed his experise and knowledge and was awarded the very prestigious Medal of Excellence.
He then returned to NYC where he continued to develope his craft at such exclusive restaurants and hotels like The Inter-Continental, The Waldorf Astoria, The 21 Club, Arcadia,Le Cirque, Restaurant 44 at the Royalton Hotel.
His dedication to the art of cooking has propelled Joseph to become on of the most talented chefs in the Metropolitan area today.
David Farahat
Executive Chef
In 1988 David Farahat graduated from The Culinary Institute of America.
He then went on to study at some of New Yorks finest restaurants where he honed his skills under guidence of top Chefs at places like The River Cafe, Restaurant Rafael, La Metairie, Brasserie u Theatre. Le Cygne and The Garden City Hotel. David started as Executive Sous Chef at the Garden City Hotel and quickly rose to become the Executive Chef. His hard work and dedication enabled him to become one of the youngest Executive Chefs of any Four Star Restaurant in the area.

Our operation includes a comprehensive culinary faculty including a customized bakery, pastry department, and butcher shop designed to prepare the freshest of foods. Our Chefs take pride in the ability to provide our guests with the highest quality of innovative options.

From ethnic to organic we are dedicated to making each event truly one-of-a kind; we work with notable Chicagoland vendors/restaurateurs specializing in authentic ethnic cuisine including Indian, Kosher, Japanese, Organic, and Vegan.

We work with a number of preferred partners in New york who share our same commitment to our clients and passion for perfection. We can assist you with entertainment, floral, design, photography and videography, calligraphy, linens and equipment, specialty table décor, lighting and tenting to name a few. Together we collaborate to bring your event to life with just the right touch.
